How GarmenTRAK Works

• When a garment is added (tagged) for the first time, click on the "GarmenTrak button" to add the garment and print a label.
• Heat Press the label into the garment.
• That garment is now permanently tagged.
• When a tagged garment comes into the store simply scan the barcode.
• Customer and Garment details are automatically shown in a new Detailed Ticket for order entry.
• Assembly orders together by GT Barcode or Customer#.
• Orders can be looked up by GT Barcode at any time.

Hardware/Software Required

1. ProfitMaker Version 6 (includes GarmenTRAK software).
2. Barcode Printer: To print the barcode. ($495)
3. Barcode Labels: Special heat press labels.
4. Heat Press: To press the barcode into the garment. ($1195)
5. Barcode Reader: To scan the barcode. ($195)

A Poor Mans GarmenTrak

It is possible to utilize some of the GarmenTrak features without buying the hardware shown above. One way would be to:

• Use a permanent marker to add "barcode number ie; 1001"
• Each time that garment comes into the store simply type in the number.
• The customer and garment show up automatically.  (This method might not eliminate your need to tag using the same methods you normally use.)
